Ireland is enduring some pretty awful weather at the moment, as you may have noticed.

Those stormy conditions are set to peak tonight, with gale force winds and some torrential rain moving in from the west.

Conditions are set to improve as the week goes on, with Met Éireann saying it will be “dry and bright in most areas” by Thursday.

But the threat of rain will never be far away, and temperatures won’t be troubling that magic 20C mark.

Meanwhile, British sunworshippers will get one more bout of summer sunshine, as they prepare to bask in temperatures of up to 31C!

Aren’t we supposed to be the “lucky” ones?
