Felicity Jones is not known for her period dramas, but the actress’s red carpet frock at Toronto International Film Festival looked more like a museum piece.
The Rogue One and Theory of Everything actress hit the carpet for the premiere of her movie A Monster Calls, which also stars Sigourney Weaver, Toby Kebbell and Liam Neeson.
Felicity’s outfit featured fluttery sleeves and a many-tiered skirt – although she gave the look a modern twist with chunky black heels underneath.
The fantasy drama film is directed by JA Bayona and is based on the 2011 novel by Patrick Ness.
Felicity plays a mother suffering from terminal illness, whose son Conor (Lewis MacDougall) is trying to deal with his unhappy life. One night, he encounters a “monster” (Liam) in the form of a giant yew tree.
