England’s number one Joe Hart played his first game for Torino today, away from home to Atalanta, but it didn’t go quite to plan.

Hart joined the Italian side after new Manchester City manager decided to loan him away in favour of former Barcelona man Claudio Bravo. Bravo had a poor start in a City shirt yesterday conceding a poor goal to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and almost a penalty due to a foul on Wayne Rooney in the Manchester derby.

The stage seemed set then for Hart to prove his doubters wrong.

Sadly for Hart though things didn’t even get off to a good start today, with his name being written incorrectly on the team sheet.

Okay, so strangely Hart’s full name is Charles Joseph John Hart – so maybe it was an easy mistake to make.

Maybe the game went well at least then? Nope.

A costly mistake allowed Atalanta to equalise just minutes after Torino had pulled ahead, before an 82nd minute penalty made the final score 2-1 to the hosts.

Fans haven’t been too kind about the mistake.

Some think Hart deserves a break though…

Stay strong Joe!
