An elderly man and woman have been airlifted from the scene of a crash in Co Galway.
The two, who are in their 70s, were travelling in a car involved in a two-car collision on the N59 at Kylemore at about 6pm yesterday.
They were airlifted to University Hospital Galway with serious injuries.
The occupants of the second car were taken to Castlebar Hospital with minor injuries. They have since been discharged.
