It was first announced last month that Alexander Wang would be launching a collaboration with Adidas and last night, the former Balenciaga designer finally debuted his new line during his show at New York Fashion Week.

Wang’s 84-piece collection is designed to be totally unisex and features both apparel and footwear.

Wang decided to literally flip the classic Adidas logo and present it upside down on his new line.

He said to Vogue: “Originals is such an iconic brand, with instantly recognisable symbols and trademarks. It’s both grounded in heritage and also completely modern.

“With this collection, the idea was to take the codes and iconography of the adidas Originals brand and look at what their symbols mean and turn them on their head, to invert what’s on the surface and add a layer of subversion; also to toy with the idea of what’s authentic and what’s fake, and how a certain setting can change perception entirely.”

If you’re hoping to get your hands on some of the new pieces, you’ll have to make your way to New York to one of the pop-up trucks that will be making stops throughout the city on Sunday. Sorry about that.
