Update September 13: Daud Hassan has been found safe and well.

Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in finding a missing teenager in Dublin city.

13-year-old Daud Hassan, who is of Somalian background, was last seen close to the GPO at approximately 11.35am today.

He is described as being 5 foot 5 inches, of medium build with black/brown hair.

He was wearing a full length white tunic, blue jeans and a red sash around his shoulder.

Daud does not speak any English and Gardaí and his family are concerned for his welfare.
