It may seem that Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have been awaiting the birth of their first child together for ages, but in fact there are another two months to go.

However, with time to spare the pair have finally revealed the gender of their child on their long-awaited reality TV series.

Rob, the only male sibling in the Kardashian-Jenner family, had previously expressed his wishes to have a boy.

But Blac Chyna – real name Angela Renée White – confirmed on the debut episode of their TV show Rob & Chyna that they’ll actually be having a daughter.

She said: “I’m just happy the baby is healthy and I’m super happy I’m having a girl.”

And, of course, following the TV revelation, members of the family took to Twitter to share their joy over the forthcoming new addition.

Blac is already a mother to three-year-old son King Cairo with ex-boyfriend rapper Tyga, who is dating Rob’s younger half-sister Kylie Jenner.

However, it seems that Rob wasn’t as overjoyed as the rest of his family about the gender of his unborn child.

He said: “It’s an emotional moment. Me wanting to have a boy, it definitely stems from my dad but I’m sure I’ll have the same relationship that I had with my father with my daughter.”
