
Nicole Turner has finished fourth in her heat of the women’s 200m individual medley and her time of 3.17.09 was good enough to earn a place in the final.

The swimmer has now qualified for her third final in as many events, an impressive achievement given that she is still only 14-years-old.

The final takes place tonight at 11.39pm.
Elsewhere, equestrian Helen Kearney goes in the Grade 1-A team test – which starts at 5pm.
Sonar sailors John Twomey, Ian Costelloe and Austin O’Carroll take to the water for their first race at 5.35pm.
And the 7-a-side C-P footballers take on Great Britain in their final group game from 8.15pm.
