A total of 45 people have been arrested today in a major Garda crackdown on criminal activity in Co Carlow.

Gardaí made four significant drug seizures and seized four vehicles.

120 Gardaí were involved in over 20 searches and road checkpoints.

14 people have been charged with criminal offences.

The sweep is part of Operation Thor.
