We all saw it at the weekend in Croke Park, and now we’ve evidence that the handshake battle has spread to Wexford club hurling, writes Stephen Barry.

Cork’s Hannah Looney and Kilkenny’s Collette Dormer started the All-Ireland Camogie final early early on Sunday, with plenty of pushing and shoving on the red carpet.

But in Wexford, the battle doesn’t even end at the final whistle…

That was the scene after Adamstown defeated Monageer to progress to the Wexford Intermediate semi-finals.

Judging by this, the game must’ve been some contest!
