Disgraced Coronation Street star Chris Fountain has put out a very public appeal offering a reward after his car was stolen.
The actor, who was best known for playing Tommy Duckworth on the cobbles for two years until 2013, claimed that his silver Audi A7 was taken from Cheadle in Manchester on Thursday morning.
He added that a person with any information leading to its return will be “substantially rewarded”.
Chris, 29, later asked for people to retweet his original tweet, which included the car’s registration number, to get the message across to the wider community.
There have been no updates on his Twitter page – on which he has 293,000 followers – suggesting that his investigation into the theft of his vehicle is still on-going.
He has not revealed the price he paid for his motor, but they can cost from £46,865 according to the official Audi UK website.

Chris recently revealed he was left out of work for three years following the scandal that led to the end of his soap career in 2013.
He was sacked as Corrie’s Tommy when he was exposed as a masked YouTube rapper called The Phantom whose lyrics glorified violence and included the line “rape a bitch on her birthday”.
Speaking on This Morning, he apologised and said: “It kills me really because the stuff that went online in no way reflects how I feel about women.
“I just wanted to impress these people and it was what everyone was doing … and I’ve not worked for three years.”
Prior to his Coronation Street career, he found fame as Justin Burton on Hollyoaks.
He is set to appear in a stage version of The Full Monty alongside his former Hollyoaks co-star Gary Lucy.
