What a night for Dundalk.

A goal down and reduced to ten men, no one would blame the Airtricity League side for being crushed by the pressure of their first ever Europa League group game.

Their opposition, AZ Alkmaar, regularly feature in the upper end of the Dutch League and were highly fancied for the win.

So it makes the eventual draw, thanks to a late goal by substitute Ciaran Kilduff, even more magical.

And to understand exactly how much that goal meant to fans of Dundalk, listen to the reaction of Adrian Taafe and David Crawley on local station LMFM.

The pair went absolutely mental.

Listen from 30 seconds for the goal reaction.

“GOOOOOAAALLLLLL! GET IN THERE, YA LAD YA!!!!!”

Super stuff.
