Yoga classes, an assault course, cookery demonstrations and health workshops are just some of the things you can experience at Wellfest this weekend.

The health and fitness festival – which is now in its second year – is taking place in Dublin’s Herbert Park today and tomorrow.

Roz Purcell, The Happy Pear and Bressie are just some of the well-known faces who will giving talks and offering advice.

Wellfest co-founder Anthony Kelly says there’s something for everyone.

“Don’t be put off by thinking it’s all going to fitness, high-octane kind of stuff – it’s really about picking your own day of wellness from a whole different range of activities,” he said.

“So if you want to come along, check out some cookery demos, listen to some great talks, maybe try out some meditation or mindfulness for the first time, please feel free to come down.

“And obviously if you want to do the high-octane fitness stuff, you can do that as well.”
