Team Ireland have won another medal at the Paralympics.

Katie-George Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal won a silver medal in the Women’s B Road Race.

It comes after their gold medal in the Time Trial B race on Wednesday.

The duo were 59 seconds behind Poland’s Iwona Podkoscielna in Rio.

In the Men’s B Road Race, Peter Ryan and Marcin Mizgakski finished in 12th as the Netherlands’ Vincent Ter Schure took gold.

However the heat and pace caught up with Damien Verecker in the same race as he was forced to retire about 60km from the finish line.

The Kilkenny man and his pilot Sean Hahessy had established a lead of one minute and 40 seconds at the halfway mark, before they dropped out when leading the field.
