If you think you know Jo Whiley, then prepare to be amazed.
The BBC Radio 2 DJ was so unrecognisable in a cameo appearance at London Fashion Week on Monday that we had to do a double take to make sure our eyes weren’t deceiving us.
Jo, 51, was rocking a huge, bird’s nest platinum wig, with an artist’s palette and paintbrushes tucked into its fluffy clouds.
She was one of the models cast in the Vin and Omi spring/summer 2017 show at The Congress Centre and wore a black dress from the collection with a large, ruffled silver neckline, as well as high platform shoes.
Earlier in the day, Jo tweeted about her pre-show nerves.
Always good to do things out of your comfiest zone. Today I walk the catwalk for @VinandOmi WAAAAHHH!!😳😳😳💃🏼💅🏼💅🏼👀

She also joked that the look reminded her of her style during the 80s.
Flashback to how I used to look in the Eighties. Thanks for having me @VinandOmi #londonfashionweek pic.twitter.com/W5ghClHffD

The designers also chose another familiar face for their catwalk – Nicola “Baby Face” Adams, the Olympic-gold-winning boxer, showed off a fitted white suit covered in photos of Muhammad Ali.
She shared a video about her day as a model with her fans.
