Kate Moss led the fashion industry’s great and good at a stylish dinner last night as part of London Fashion Week.

The supermodel was one of the guests of honour at the event to launch the fourth Business of Fashion Index at the London Edition.

Guarding against the autumnal chill, Mossy covered up elegantly in an embroidered gold gown with full-length sleeves and a high neckline.

She was joined at the event by stylish diners including socialite Olivia Palermo, who also wrapped up warm in a chunky jacket, and designer Tory Burch dressed in a floral dinner suit.

Actress Freida Pinto added a flowing blue coat to her rose pink dress, proving that the designers may be showing their spring/summer 2017 collections, but we are very definitely heading into autumn.

TV presenter Alexa Chung is a firm fixture at fashion events and went for a sheer, floaty number, while stylish music producer Will.i.am chose a black suit with white lapels.

Fashion editor Caroline Issa and designer Mary Katrantzou both went for covered up looks, too.

But stylist Martha Ward and shoe and accessory designer Charlotte Dellal were clinging on to the last days of summer with their choices for the evening.
