Gorillaz are finally on Instagram. They launched their account on Tuesday and have been posting images chronicling their musical history from 2000′s Tomorrow Comes Today EP onwards.

In July, Damon Albarn told the BBC that a new Gorillaz album and follow-up to 2010′s Plastic Beach would be ready “fairly soon”.

He said: “Later in the year we’ll be starting to get the whole Gorillaz thing together.”

The account has posted various clips from music videos and awards shows as well as “press shots”.

Could this mean a new album is just around the corner?
