Katie Price has extended her sympathy to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie over their divorce, but said the most important thing is the happiness of their children.
The TV star, who is divorced from Peter Andre and Alex Reid, said she knows what the couple are going through by separating in the public eye.
She told the Press Association: “There are always break-ups when you’re in the public eye. I’ve been there and done that and it’s not nice to have it lived through the press.
“I had it for six years and sometimes now they still go on about it.
“As long as the kids are happy and loved, they can work it out. There is always going to be speculation about everything.”
The mother of five is married to Kieran Hayler and is promoting her new book in which she details his affair with her friend, Jane Pountney.
Speaking at the unveiling of her new autobiography Reborn, where she emerged from an egg in a skin-tight beige catsuit, she said: “The Jane and Kieran chapters I did back then, two and a half years ago, just to get it over and done with and I have never gone back or revisited them.”
“It has been one of the hardest books because it’s part of the betrayal, but it’s not just about what happened with me and my husband. I’ve definitely come through it.”
