Cork City have kept their title bid on-track after an impressive win tonight in the Airtricity League Premier Division.
Two goals from Dave Mulcahy helped the Leesiders to a 5-3 win over Galway United at Turner’s Cross.
Sean Maguire, Garry Buckley and Kevin O’Connor got the other goals as John Caulfield’s side moved back to within five points of league leaders Dundalk.
Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Shamrock Rovers have held onto third place ahead of Derry City after Stephen McPhail’s late equaliser helped Rovers to a 2-2 draw against the Candystripes at the Brandywell.
