Zoe Ball wore her wedding ring during the live broadcast of Strictly Come Dancing’s spin-off show It Takes Two, following the disclosure that she and husband Norman Cook are separating.
The couple are parting ways after 18 years, and Zoe’s stint on the BBC Two programme came just two days after they announced the news via a post on Twitter.
It was also her first public appearance since making the declaration, and fans on Twitter commented that she looked to be in “high spirits”.
Zoe, 45, and Norman, 53 – better known as DJ Fatboy Slim – confirmed their split with a joint statement.
The pair, who wed in 1999, said they remain “great friends”, adding that they will continue to support each other and raise their two children together.
The statement read: “With great sadness we are announcing that we have separated.
“After many exciting adventures together over the last 18 years we have come to the end of our rainbow.”

The couple had endured a number of rocky patches in their relationship.
They split for a few months in 2003 after Zoe had an affair with DJ Dan Peppe, and she was pictured in December having a drunken kiss with 22-year-old Tay Tay Starhz of boyband Franklin Lake.

But Zoe insisted she and Norman had laughed off the slip-up, saying: “He has always said he wants his gravestone to read ‘Norman was a very patient man’. And that sums it up really.”
Zoe and Norman have two children together, 15-year-old son Woody, and daughter Nelly, six.
