One British Olympian didn’t let being on top of a double decker bus – during a parade to celebrate the achievements of Yorkshire Olympic and Paralympic athletes – get in the way of him showing off his sporting skills.

We know gymnast Nile Wilson is good at balancing and everything but we still can’t help feeling slightly on edge watching this…

Wilson, who won a bronze medal for the men’s horizontal bar, tweeted a picture of his stunt from the bus, cheekily saying to fellow Olympian Max Whitlock: “Beat this one.” Whitlock, if you remember, won gold in both the men’s floor and the men’s pommel horse.

Thousands of people lined the Yorkshire streets below as several open-top buses drove through Leeds city centre.

Many other famous sporting heroes were spotted in the parade too.
