Dundalk and Man Utd both recorded 1-0 wins in tonight’s Europa League games, but it was the Airtricity League club that impressed most fans.
Ciaran Kilduff put the Lilywhites ahead of Maccabi Tel-Aviv with less than 20 minutes to go after the home side dominated the Europa League Group D clash.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic did the same for United at Old Trafford against FC Zorya Luhansk at around the same time.
However, fans had vastly differing opinions of both sides’ performances.
United fans, it seems, couldn’t stay awake watching the Group A match.
Boring boring Man Utd!!!

Meanwhile, over at the Tallaght Stadium, Dundalk were impressing.
Dundalk would pass the legs off the senior international team, very easy on the eye #LOIinEurope #UEL #dundalkfc

This Dundalk team are absolutely superb. Their willingness & appetite to pass & play at every opportunity is an absolute joy to watch 👍🏻

Gas how football works. Dundalk squeaked by the Icelanders and now look comfortable in the EL groups. Small margins etc

Dundalk such a good story. They were there when I started out covering Kildare in 1st Div, now enjoyable watching on front foot in Europe!

Dundalk just casually being the better team against an established European side, again. No biggie. Probably a fluke, again.
