Alan Carr’s going to tie the knot after his long-term boyfriend popped the question.

The TV host, 40, got engaged to Paul Drayton last week while the couple dined out during a holiday in Indonesia.

Alan – who wants Adele to sing at his wedding – told The Sun that the engagement ring had been hidden in his pudding.

“I went to the toilet and came out to eat dessert.

“And then I was like ‘Oh my God, a filling’s come out – just my luck on holiday’,” the Chatty Man host said.

The comic said a man on an organ, the hotel chef and staff then all began singing Can You Feel The Love Tonight? but didn’t know the lyrics.

“So it was my idea of hell, but of course I said yes,” he said.

Alan said the wedding will take place next year and singing star Adele, who is a close friend, could take bridesmaid duties as well as entertaining the guests.

Alan added: “We’ll get Adele singing Someone Like You.”
