Ed Balls has shaken off his underdog status to become THE MAN on Strictly Come Dancing.

The former Labour MP wowed us all with his spirited Charleston this week, and it has paid off – he is NOT the first contestant to get the boot.

That unfortunate title went to Melvin Odoom, meaning Ed lives to dance another day.
