
Twitter has exploded with the news that Tyson Fury has retired.
It comes days after the World champion tested positive for cocaine.
VADA, the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association, found benzoylecgonine – a metabolite of cocaine – in the heavyweight’s “A” urine sample, indicating he took the substance.
News of his retirement sparked joy from some on Twitter since he had offended many by making sexist, homophobic and anti-Semitic comments, for which he apologised.
