Comeback king Craig David has risen above quite a few challenges during his time in the spotlight.

Carving a career out of DJ sets in clubs around Southampton, being ridiculed in Bo’ Selecta and staging a comeback most acts from the 90s can only dream of, the nice-guy singer is always keeping us on our toes.

Spotify recently challenged Craig, whose new album was released last week, to write a song which included four words: hype, friends, shot and vision.

The video gives viewers a rare glimpse into the artist’s creative process as he works with a guitarist and percussionist to write the music from scratch.
