A murder investigation has begun into the death of a man in his 20s in Dublin yesterday.

His body was found at an apartment on the South Circular Road, with a second man found injured on the street nearby.

Gardaí do not want to release the name of the man until all his family have been notified.

They say they have spoken to the second injured man, who is in hospital recovering from non life threatening injuries, he is believed to be a Swiss national.

Gardaí are appealing for a third man who was spotted leaving the scene to contact them.

He is described as five feet six inches tall, of thin build with fair hair.

Superintendent Patrick McMenamin says they are carrying out further searches this afternoon.
