Two men have been charged in connection with an aggravated burglary in Howth writes Roisin Burke.
The men, aged 48 and 35, are due to appear before Dublin District Court 1, this morning.
The 48-year-old man was arrested in Dublin City Centre and brought to Raheny station, the other man was arrested this morning in West Dublin and brought to Clontarf.
The burglary took place in Howth on Friday December 13, 2013.
Four men entered the house, two at the front door and two at the back.
They threatened the woman of the house and demanded money.
One man was armed with a nail bar hoever the mother, in her 40’s and daughter, aged eight, were unharmed in the incident.
The men took off with a sum of money and the owner’s car, which was later abandoned in Howth village.
