Daniel Radcliffe and Bob Dylan are taking centre stage at The Old Vic.

Ex-Harry Potter star Daniel has signed up for a 50th anniversary production of Tom Stoppard’s play Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead.

The 27-year-old, who has already notched up several Broadway credits with the likes of Equus and How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, will take to the stage in March.

Musician and singer Bob Dylan has given permission for his music to be used in a new play, Girl From The North Country.

Set during the Great Depression, the play is by Conor McPherson.

Daniel, who will star alongside screen actor Joshua McGuire in the Stoppard play, was last on the London stage three years ago, in The Cripple Of Inishmaan at the Noel Coward Theatre.

Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead centres around two minor characters from Shakespeare’s Hamlet. It made its London debut in 1967 after it was first staged in Edinburgh.

The Old Vic previously announced that Star Wars actor John Boyega will be on stage as a murdering military barber in a new production of Woyzeck by Jack Thorne, in May.
