Finn Harps striker Kevin McHugh thinks his season is over and, having seen the picture of his freak finger injury, we’re inclined to agree with him.
The 36-year-old suffered the nasty injury after his wedding ring got caught as he attempted to jump over a fence.
His finger was almost torn off in the accident and McHugh shared a picture of the injury on Twitter, captioning the gruesome image: “Think that’s my season over…”.

The player is facing surgery today to attempt to repair the damage, but told well-wishers on social media that he is likely to lose the finger.

Finn Harps currently lie tenth in the table, with five more games to play this season, but it looks like they will have to do without the services of the Donegal striker.
