It seems getting up at the crack of dawn never gets easier for Susanna Reid.
The Good Morning Britain host almost missed the show by oversleeping when her alarm didn’t go off but luckily her pet cat saved the day.

She revealed on the show: “The cat said it’s time to get fed. My cat is my second back-up alarm.”

Luckily she was quickly composed and on the sofa in time for a cup of coffee before the show started.
The alarm clock mishap wasn’t Susanna’s only blunder of the morning – she also mistook co-host Ben Shephard’s Instagram video for a selfie – with hilarious results.
Susanna looked gorgeous on screen in a blue and turquoise Hybrid Fashion dress but drew some amusing fashion comparisons from her fans on Twitter.
