A second round of shows has been added across Europe as tickets for Coldplay’s 2017 Dublin show sold out in minutes after going on sale on this morning – but alas no extra Dublin date as of yet.

The British band announced they would be hitting the road across the continent with their Head Full Of Dreams tour just days ago.

And, due to overwhelming demand for tickets, the Hymn For The Weekend hitmakers have now added a handful of extra dates.

Second dates for Milan, Wales, Gothenburg, Paris and Brussels have also been added to the summer schedule for next year.

So far, Coldplay have taken the tour – which coincides with their seventh studio album of the same name – across Latin America, the US and other European destinations and they will head to Australia later this year.

However, us Irish fans that missed out on nabbing tickets have been left upset as a second date for Dublin’s Croke Park has not been added.

They have taken to Twitter in the hopes that the band will line up another gig in the capital – go on, they know they want to.

Coldplay’s European dates for summer 2017:

Munich, Olympiastadion – June 6
Lyon, Parc Olympique Lyonnais – June 8
Vienna, Ernst-Happel-Stadion – June 11
