Conor McGregor is a tough guy in the octagon but a sweetheart to his supporters.

This young MMA fan was delighted to meet the UFC star yesterday, but there was one problem.

The little girl had no phone with her to take the obligatory selfie and capture the moment.

Luckily for her nothing is too much trouble for the Dubliner when it comes to pleasing his fans.

McGregor took a picture with his own phone and posted it on Instagram: “To the little lady who left her phone at home.”

To make doubly sure she got it he also shared it on Twitter.

Given the picture has already clocked up more than 600,000 likes between the two platforms, we’re going to assume it has reached by now.
