The traditional movie theme on Strictly always brings out some colourful outfits and this year is no exception with a banana-looking Ed Balls, a toothless Lesley Joseph and a Flintstone-esque Judge Rinder.

Fans were left impressed by the hair and costume department’s work after the show’s opening dance.
