Update 3.30pm: The fire has been extinguished and the road reopened to traffic.

Earlier:

Emergency services are attending the scene of a fire off Aungier Street in Dublin city centre.

The fire broke out at 12.50pm today in a derelict building near the Glover Court flats on York Street.

Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade are currently dealing with the blaze, and gardaĆ­ are at the scene.

No one has been injured in the incident.

It is believed the fire was caused by a collection of burning materials that had been gathered ahead of Halloween.

Part of York Street from Aungier Street, is currently closed to traffic.
