Justin Bieber fans unable to gaze longingly at his washboard abs in real life during his upcoming UK gigs are being offered the chance to glimpse the next best thing – a “wet look” waxwork.

Madame Tussauds in London has unveiled a topless and sweat-glistened mannequin of the Canadian star ahead of the UK and Ireland leg of his world tour.

The 22-year-old Believe singer and heart-throb is portrayed naked from the waist up in a pose the tourist attraction said was “inspired by the jaw-dropping climax of the tour”.

And between October 22 and October 30 fans will also be able to get tickets to see real-life dancers perform around it to the backing of his blockbuster hit Sorry.

The tattooed life-size figure is on loan to the London attraction from Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas during October.

A Tussauds spokeswoman said: “The 22-year-old singing sensation’s figure is topless, showing a toned torso off to perfection, with Bieber’s trademark tattoos also carefully recreated and wearing drop-crotch shorts and tartan long-johns, accompanied by a white bandana.”

Bieber kicks off the UK and Ireland tour leg with four dates at London’s O2 from Tuesday, before playing arenas in Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Glasgow and Dublin.
