It’s the time of year that cause the internet to go into major lock-down, as thousands of music fans clamour to buy Glastonbury Festival tickets.
At 9am on Sunday, passes were to go on sale on See Tickets, and predicted to sell-out within half an hour, despite the increase in price.
A £10 price hike on last year means festival-goers will have to cough up £238 plus a £5 booking fee for access to the 900-acre site, although fans are not asked to pay the full balance until spring 2017.
On Thursday the coach package batch of tickets sold out in just 23 minutes with a number of fans experiencing website difficulties, and last year 120,000 passes were snapped up in just over half an hour.
And, as it was set to begin again, music and mud lovers took to Twitter to share their preparation tactics ahead of the ticket-buying frenzy.
There was a general consensus that more devices will reap more rewards…
