Countryfile was hit with a backlash on Twitter following its segment on TB in cattle.
TB has been wiping out herds and has led to badger culls, as the animals can spread the illness.
The Countryfile piece certainly got people talking on Twitter.
A few fans accused the show of blaming the spread of TB on badgers.
@tomheapmedia #Countryfile How can we penetrate this fortress of ignorance? Badgers are incidental to controlling this disease https://t.co/kAp1RAYu7s

Just sat down to dinner and subjected to #countryfile blaming #badgers for TB spread and farmers getting sniffly over lost profit! #GoVegan

Countryfile acknowledges bTB still in herd after testing. Doesn't this need addressing, rather than blaming badgers? #badgermonday

And many took the opportunity to suggest flaws in the controversial practice.
