€100,000 worth of drugs have been seized in Dublin.

The discovery was made after gardai stopped two men in the Saggart area at around 4.00pm yesterday afternoon.

Two men aged 27 and 57 were arrested for drug trafficking offences and are being detained at Clondalkin Garda Station.

During this stop and search operation 1 kilo of cocaine was seized and follow up searches found a further quantity of cocaine.

Both men were subsequently charged and are due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30am tomorrow morning.
