A new scheme has been launched to tackle bullying of LGBT children in primary schools.
New research has found that the most common age that people realise they are LGBT is 12.
The new initiative, called All Together Now, includes resources and lesson plans for teachers.
Youth organisation “Belong To” which created the programme, says 50% of LGBT students have experienced homophobic bullying in schools.
