Gardaí are investigating two cash-in-transit robberies in Dublin today.
A security officer was approached and threatened by a man outside a bank in Tallaght village shortly before midday.
The raider fled the scene in a waiting car with a cash box.
The car is described as a silver Peugeot.
Gardaí are also investigating a cash-in-transit robbery in Finglas which occurred shortly after midday.

It is understood the raider made off on foot and into a waiting car.
Gardaí say a car has since been recovered on fire in a nearby industrial estate.
No one was injured during either incident and anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.
