More than €4m worth of drugs have been seized in the Midlands West Region.

72,000 ecstasy tablets were discovered along with cannabis, cocaine and MDMA by Revenue officers at the National profiling Centre on Sunday.

The drugs were concealed in a vehicle importing plant machinery

Investigations are ongoing.
