Forget whatever romantic surprises you’ve planned for your relationship anniversary, all of your efforts have just been blown out of the water by Adele’s five-year partner Simon Konecki.
The 28-year-old singer was literally showered with love when the stage confetti at her Nasvhille concert was replaced with countless hand-written love notes.
The messages, ranging from compliments such as “You are an angel” to the simple, no-frills “I love you”, were scooped up by audience members who reckon Simon must have been the romantic brain behind the idea.

It was an extra special gesture as, not only are the couple celebrating five years together, but today (Wednesday) is also the fourth birthday of their little boy, Angelo.

The happy mum recently revealed she was itching to bring a little sibling for Angelo into the world, reportedly joking: “My womb is starting to ache a little bit.
“It’s like, ‘Baby, baby, baby. Need a baby, need a baby.”
But she promised that she has no current plans to get pregnant – at least not until the end of the tour.
In the meantime, it looks like she is enjoying spending time on tour in the US, even if that means pretending to be a Ghostbuster from time to time. Because, who wouldn’t?
