Munster captain Peter O’Mahony spoke movingly about his coach and ‘brother’ Anthony Foley today.

Struggling to keep his emotion in check at the first press conference since Axel’s untimely death at the weekend, O’Mahony said: “I’m not going to do him justice here, personally he meant a huge amount.

“I haven’t supported a Munster team that he wasn’t involved in. The amount he’s given the club, it can’t be calculated.

“The amount we’ve lost now that he’s gone, the rugby knowledge; the man and the brain, the coach and the friend, the brother – it’s mad.”

As Munster prepare for their first game without Foley, we take a look back at his career in pictures.
