Gardaí have seized cannabis herb, cannabis resin, LSD and ecstasy worth approximately €75,000 in Dublin.

The drugs were discovered as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the inner Dublin city area.

Gardaí from the North Central Drug Unit based in Store St searched a property on St Augustine Street, Dublin 8.

During the course of the search Gardaí also seized €12,750 in cash.

One male(33 years) was arrested and is being detained at Store St Garda station under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
