Actor and comedian Steve Coogan featured on Channel 4′s Stand Up To Cancer Gogglebox special on Friday night and it was soon revealed he is not a fan of the X Factor.
The Alan Partridge star seemed appalled in particular at Honey G’s performance, but praised Simon Cowell for a “brilliant scheme” that has made the Syco boss “very rich”.
As the north London rapper chanted “when I say Honey, you say G”, Steve, sat alongside actress Anna Friel, refused to chant G.
Naturally his response to the controversial act divided Twitter.

The 35-year-old hip-hop act has survived the first two weeks of the live ITV shows after she was controversially put through by her mentor, Sharon Osbourne.
Earlier this week, Boy George said she had made the show a “joke” and plenty of people agreed with his and Steve’s response view.
