The Doctor Who spin-off Class is finally here and it’s everything the Whovians have been waiting for.
The show, which sees teenagers protect London from monsters in the same universe as the Doctor, arrived on BBC Three to a rapturous reception.
The first episode of #Class handles so much so well. It's packed with backstory, without feeling intrusive, and genuinely surprising twists.

I sat there with a big grin on my face thinking "I don't mind that DW isn't on the telly this year, #Class has ticked all the boxes!"

I like #Class , definitely not for kids, swearing, sex, blood, smoking, humour, dark, feels more like Torchwood rather than Doctor Who

I thought I'd have loved miss Quill but then I found out who she really is and NOW I WORSHIP HER! @katherine_kelly is AWESOME! #Class

Some fans even, dare we say it, prefer it to Doctor Who.
Sorry, but I'm gonna say it. This is better than recent Doctor Who by miles. #Class

But others were disappointed it was only available on the digital channel.
Sorry to spam #Class slightly but this non-reaction thanks to ridiculous online release is upsetting, it deserves better.
