With songs by acts such as Sam Smith, The Zutons and Vanilla Ice, people watching X Factor don’t get why this week’s episode is all about “divas”.
While people still loved Gifty’s belting rendition of Lay Me Down, 5 After Midnight’s dance spectacular to Valerie and Honey G’s “sort of” Ice, Ice Baby, the question still remains… why?

Sorry, could someone remind me of that Diva that sang 'Ice Ice Baby'? Thanks, it's okay, take your time... #XFactor

As in, where are the ACTUAL diva covers?
These song choices are hardly right for Divas week, like where is Beyoncé?! #XFactor pic.twitter.com/oNBVzZedJh

I was expecting "diva week" to be big, epic, Whitney/Mariah/Celine power ballads. The real theme here is "songs"! #XFactor

In fact, is there even an actual theme at all?
Next week's theme...people what sang a song once #XFactor

…or just accept it.
So I guess the definition of Diva has changed #XFactor

But they were pretty agreed that Nicole Scherzinger’s self-proclaimed diva-hood didn’t really count, either…
"Honey I'm so diva I sweat glitter" HAHA! Only Nicole Scherzinger could get away with saying that. #XFactor
