Sweden is a big place, the third-largest country in the European Union by area in fact. So teams playing in the Allsvenskan, Sweden’s top league, often have to travel long distances for away games.
That was the case for Gefle IF, who faced an 1100 km round trip to take on Kalmar FF on Wednesday evening.
It was worth the trip though, with the visitors coming away with a 1-0 win.

But rather than congratulate themselves, at the final whistle the team went over to the stands to salute the one and only fan who made the trip to watch them.
Yep. Travelling support – one.
We hope the team offered him a lift home.
