Peter Crouch’s career might not quite resemble that of Cristiano Ronaldo’s, but that might not stop him recreating a picture of him that the Portuguese national posted on Twitter.
It started innocently enough when the Real Madrid prodigy posted a shirtless photo of himself on Twitter with an overcoat draped across his shoulders. Just enough not to obscure his coveted abs.

But it didn’t take long for the 6″ 7′, somewhat slimmer, Crouch to make an irresistible offer, asking: “Please retweet or fave if you would like me to recreate?”

Within hours, Crouchy had over 40,000 retweets and 60,000 likes, suggesting a follow-up pic could become a reality.

The Stoke forward and former England striker, often known for his dry wit, once responded to the question: “If you weren’t a football player, what would you be?” with the self-deprecating quip: “A virgin.”
Fans are now hoping that Crouch’s sense of humour could lead him to find enough time to recreate Portugal’s most celebrated footballer and turn a few heads of his own.
